Points awarded to team standings based on who wins the overall match
Points for each of the 3 bets (Front 9, Back 9, Overall)
Max possible per match: 3 wins × points = 3 pts
When a team is marked as a Forfeit on the scorecard, the match is scored with these points instead of hole-by-hole. (A full match is worth 24.)
A substitute is a real person filling the spot and posting a real score.
Either no sub was found, or subs aren't allowed.
How the 24 match points are decided when one team is a player short. Applies to every match in the league.
They play the hole-by-hole match normally, but can't score above this. Anything trimmed goes to the full team.
A player can't make their week. Two questions decide what happens — first whether a stand-in may play, then what to do if the spot ends up empty.
Choose which side games to track for your league each week.
Discard only applies when enough scores are available (min scores + discards).
Rebuilds each member's seed-round history from saved league scorecards. Use this if "Seed Rounds" counts in Edit All Members look wrong (e.g. fewer than weeks completed).
Handicap Calculation — Step by Step
1. Collect scores
Enter each round's gross score and which nine was played (Front 9 or Back 9). Each nine has a scratch par (GSRating): Front = 32.8, Back = 35.3.
2. Calculate variations
For each round: Variation = Gross Score − Scratch Par
Example: Shot 35 on the front → 35 − 32.8 = +2.2
3. Use the most recent 7 rounds
Only the last 7 rounds are considered. Enter rounds newest-first so the most recent are used.
4. Discard highest and lowest
With 5+ rounds available, the highest and lowest variations are dropped. The remaining middle scores are used.
5. Calculate pre-handicap
Pre-Handicap = Sum of used variations ÷ number used
6. Apply handicap percent (90%)
Handicap = Pre-Handicap × 0.90
Result is truncated to 2 decimal places (not rounded).
7. Apply tee adjustment
Final Handicap = Handicap + (Scratch Par − Par)
Par = 35 for both nines at North Star.
Front: Handicap + (32.8 − 35) = Handicap − 2.2
Back: Handicap + (35.3 − 35) = Handicap + 0.3
8. Round to whole number
The final handicap is rounded to the nearest whole number for scorecard use.
Create a brand-new league with the same members, teams, settings, and course — without re-entering everything. Scores, schedule, and standings start fresh.
Finishing marks the season complete and locks scores and schedule changes. Standings stay exactly as they are. You can reopen it anytime — only the organizer or an admin can finish or reopen.
This will permanently delete this league and all associated data including members, teams, schedules, scorecards, and standings. This action cannot be undone.
